Kelsey Smith, certified nurse practitioner, is originally from Newnan, Georgia. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Valdosta State University in 2010. She then cared for critically ill patients at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia as an inpatient registered nurse for 2 years before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico. While in Albuquerque, Kelsey had the privilege of working as a registered nurse at the University of New Mexico Pain Consultation and Treatment Center. She also obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialty in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from the University of New Mexico in 2016. After becoming nationally certified as a nurse practitioner, Kelsey cared for homebound adult and geriatric patients as part of the Presbyterian Healthcare System House Calls program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2019, Kelsey moved back to Georgia with her family and learned rheumatological care under Doctor Atul Khasnis at Georgia Rheumatology Clinic in Tyrone. She is privileged to now call LaGrange her home, and is proud to be able to provide excellent care to this community.
